Adventures for All in the Family
The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park has adventures suited for everyone in the family! With general admission tickets, you and your family can enjoy unlimited rides on our Aerial Gondola. This tram system is the longest single-span tram system in America. The gondola cars seat up to six people, suspended 1,200 feet above ground! It glides across the Royal Gorge from rim-to-rim. You will see incredible views of the Royal Gorge Bridge alongside you and the winding Arkansas River below you. Then, walk over to our Cloudscraper Zip Line for a high-flying adventure! You will also reach the starting point of the Royal Gorge Via Ferrata at this end of our park for a guided climbing experience. Using steel cables and rungs along the rocks, this climbing experience is safe and fun for the whole family. Climbing harnesses and helmets are included with your tour!
Walk across America’s Highest Suspension Bridge, which stretches rim-to-rim 956 feet over the Arkansas River below. The heights and views will have the whole family smiling! If your family has up to eight guests, consider staying a couple nights with us at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park’s cliff-side stay. Relax at the edge of the Royal Gorge at our Big Horn Mountain Top Lodge! The covered outdoor patio deck is the perfect place to watch a Colorado sunset over the mountain ranges in the distance. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise as it shines through the Royal Gorge.
You can rent our entire lodge, a 1,500-square-foot house that has a cabin feel. It is positioned high above the Arkansas River that flows through the bottom of the gorge. Plus with your lodge booking, you and your family receive daily admission to the entire park!
The lodge accommodates up to eight people with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy fireplace lounge, an open dining room, laundry facilities, and incredible views.
