“Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is a must see in Colorado! It was my first stop on my road trip and it did not disappoint. I walked the bridge there and rode the gondola back. Beautiful views! “
– Kayla, Google Local Guide
Immerse yourself in 360° of Colorado’s natural beauty from the best seat in the state. Glide 2,200 feet across the Gorge, 1,200 feet high above the Arkansas River in our Aerial Gondolas.
Every angle and view from our Aerial Gondola ride showcases the spectacular beauty of the Gorge, Bridge, Park, the Arkansas River and the surrounding Colorado mountain ranges. Eyes will pop. Jaws will drop. Don’t blink. Get your camera ready!
These bright red Poma-Leitner Gondola cars were installed in 2013 with the aid of a helicopter and a specially-trained pilot, threading cables and anchors for this majestic experience. Our tram system is one of the longest-single span gondolas in America and highly popular with our guests.
The Aerial Gondola ride is included in our General Admission ticket and guests are free to experience the thrill of riding it an unlimited amount of times during their visit to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park.
Leashed, friendly dogs are allowed to ride with their owners at the sole discretion of the ride operator. Dogs riding with their owner is also dependent on the size of the queue line. This attraction is handicap accessible for wheelchairs no wider than 30 inches. There is no handicap ramp on the South platform so you will need to ride the gondola back to the north side and can then access the bridge.
Opens at 10 am. 6 cars, 8 guests per car. This attraction is open year-round, weather permitting. Our employee and guest safety is of utmost importance. Strong winds and lightning may affect the operation of the attraction and the gondolas can close temporarily for the safety of our guests. Free next-day admission is available by having your tickets validated at the ticket counter before you leave. As we do not charge for the aerial gondola ride, no admission refunds will be issued if unable to ride.
