Our Suggestion: Bacon Cheeseburger or a hearty Rice Bowl!
Does your Burger Bucket List include eating a juicy, Bacon Cheeseburger at one of the most scenic restaurants in Colorado? Whether you cozy up by the fireplace or sit out on the open patio, you are sure to enjoy the views from Café 1230 as much as the delicious burger.
Or, dig into a Chicken Sandwich, Veggie Burger, Salad, or a satisfying Rice Bowl and wash it down with an ice-cold Coke or a selection of Colorado Brews.
Have a bite. Soak up the scenery.
Gluten-free options: Grilled chicken sandwich, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, pizza and salads.
Put some Pork on your Fork
Location: South Rim at end of Bridge.
Our Suggestion: Finger-lickin’s Ribs or Sausage with Grilled Peppers & Onions.
Sometimes, on the south side of the Royal Gorge Bridge, you can smell the tantalizing aroma of smoked meat wafting through the breeze. You’ll find the source at Bridge View BBQ*, where a whole smorgasbord of southern cooking is literally at your fingertips. Stop in for a Pork Sammy, Brisket, Sausage or Turkey Leg. Don’t forget the napkins!
All meat is smoked in-house with a secret rub.
Complete your feast with a Coke or delicious Colorado Brew and leave your stomach speechless.
Grab A Slice
Location: Southside of the Bridge, across from Elk Park Amphitheater
Our Suggestion: Pepperoni & Cheese and an ice-cold brew.
If Pizza is your favorite food group, then head on over to Pizza on the Hill* for a hot & delicious slice of your favorite ‘Za.
Chill on the deck and enjoy a slice of pepperoni & cheese with your favorite Coke product or an ice-cold Colorado brew.
If you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of the Bighorn Sheep that also love to dine in this area of the park.
Gluten-Free dough available.
Brews with Views
Locations: South side, next to Skycoaster and Tommy Knocker Playland.
Our Suggestion: An Ice-Cold, Colorado-Brewed IPA.
Colorado is known for its vast selection of micro-breweries and both Mountain Man Beer Garden* and Last Chance Tap Room* feature a rotating selection you are sure to love. Enjoy a cold glass of your favorite Domestic beer or check out the latest IPA, Lager or Ale from one of Colorado’s Craft Breweries during your visit.
Sit. Relax. Enjoy.
I Scream, You Scream!
Location: Locations throughout Park on both sides of the gorge.
Our Suggestion: Chocolate & Vanilla Swirl on a Waffle Cone.
How do you prefer your frozen treat? A chocolate & vanilla swirl of creamy soft serve on a waffle cone? Digging into a bowl of flash-frozen flavor explosion? Or sipping on a float made from hard-dipped ice cream and soda? Either way, we’ve got you covered with multiple ice cream locations on both sides of the gorge.
Savor a cool Soft Serve Ice Cream or an ICEE on a hot day. Or munch on some Cotton Candy or Popcorn on the North side of the gorge at Cliffside Patio*.
Take a break from the fun and games at Tommy Knocker Playland for a sweet treat at Dippin’ Dots*. Or, watch the zip liners and gondolas traverse the gorge while sipping on an ice cream float or fresh-squeezed lemonade on the deck at Via Ferrata*.
But First, Coffee!
Locations: North end of Bridge.
Our Suggestion: Caramel Macchiato.
Given enough coffee, you can conquer the world. Or America’s Bridge.
Stop at Java at the Bridge* for a cup of caffeinated courage before you head across the highest suspension bridge in America. If your courage is already topped up, you may want to opt for a Blue Raspberry Smoothie instead.
Hot or Cold. Courage or Confection. Either way, Yum.
